COLLECTING CONTENT FOR MODERN MOVEMENT ART

Cory Skyler Drouillard with his video cameras may spend months traveling across the United States collecting content in the outdoors and inside structures to fulfill the vision he has imagined to complete a Modern Movement Art form.

STEPHEN HAWKING "HE PIONEERED THE UNIVERSE"

Cory Skyler Drouillard depicts Hawking drifting in a field of stars. Drouillard calls his art dedication to Stephen Hawking “A Crying Galaxy.” Drouillard at a press conference in Helena, Montana stated, “Hawking inspired millions of people around the world to journey beyond planet earth and and to believe we are not alone."

THE LEGENDARY ARCHITECT FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT

Cory Skyler Drouillard’s tribute to the legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright was the least known of Wright’s projects; the Laurent House in Rockford, Illinois. There Mary Beth Peterson Vice President of the Frank Lloyd Wright foundation followed Drouillard with an emotional story about the structure Wright called his “Little Gem.” As Drouillard aimed his video cameras at the exterior and interior of the home a look of humanity emerged about Wright. Drouillard calls his tribute to Wright “The Wall of Color.”

THE FAST AND FURIOUS ACTOR PAUL WALKER

In portraying the late actor Paul Walker in Modern Movement Art that Drouillard calls “American Muscle” Drouillard spent over a year traveling to car museums around the United States to duplicate the cars Walker drove in “The Fast and the Furious.” In search of a rare 1969 429 Boss Mustang personally owned by Walker in which only 859 were made that year it was at Hickory Corners, Michigan at the Gilmore Car museum the largest car museum in North America where Drouillard found the car like Walker owned. The Gilmore Car Museum closed the museum so Drouillard could film the Mustang and the television news media could film Drouillard.

GEORGE LUCAS "STAR WARS AND BEYOND"

In placing George Lucas in Modern Movement Art Drouillard traveled to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama there former NASA engineer Ronald Paulus gave Drouillard a briefing about the Saturn V Rocket allowing Drouillard to aim his video cameras uninterrupted by the tourist. Cory Skyler Drouillard calls his tribute to George Lucas “Star Force.”

A CURRENT MODERN MOVEMENT ART FORM PROJECT "FOOTSTEPS OF AMERICA"

For five days In June 2022 Cory Skyler Drouillard, aimed his cameras at the fast moving footsteps of the New Yorker and the visitor to the Big Apple. Accompanied by Pop Artist Tom Zotos and publicist Chris Harris Drouillard collected the footsteps beginning at Times Square ending at the 36th Street Subway station in Brooklyn under the protection of New York’s finest private protection firm Safewatch Security Group. Since the filming was a personal invasion, an event that had never happened in New York City or any city in the world Chris Harris did not invite the press for fear of unfavorable incidents. During those five days as Cory Skyler Drouillard aimed his cameras at thousands of footsteps of the New Yorker and the tourist he experienced nothing but looks of curiosity and smiles. The official launch of the Footsteps of America will take place in Birmingham, Alabama in February 2023. From 2023 through 2024 Cory Skyler Drouillard will visit all the 50 states gathering the “Footsteps of America."
